Meet Our Team
Valerie began her career as a financial planner in 1992, after working for several years in the non-profit sector. She served the downtown community of Toronto as Executive Director of St. Stephen's Community House and Director of Resource Development at St. Christopher House. During this time, Valerie was also the General Manager of the Social Assistance Review Board of Ontario. Valerie has taught financial management courses at York, Ryerson and Wilfred Laurier Universities. She has served on the Ethics and Practice Committee of the Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Examiners. Valerie has an MBA from the University of Toronto and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
